A Recipe for Pokeberry Ink
Pokeberry ink can be made by simply crushing the berries and straining their dye through a cheesecloth. Or, to ensure a longer shelf life, Hilton suggests add ½ teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon vinegar to about 1 cup of pokeberries that have been crushed and strained.
